Description
Summary:When it comes to the design stage, being proactive is a challenge for development of every safety and environmental management system. Assessing the demolition risks either safety or environmental usually limits to the site and workers whereas the public and surrounding area are usually being neglected. This paper briefly reviews Malaysia's demolition work related safety and environmental provisions and ultimately propose a methodology that can be used to assess safety risks and evaluate significant environmental aspects. A hybrid QFD-ANP multiple criteria decision making technique has been used to enable us to prioritise risks or aspects based on their importance. (C) 2015 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
