Description
Summary:Sustainability is a global aim to balance the rapid growth of human needs and rapid deterioration of resources. Towards that, this conceptual paper explores existing major government policies in Malaysia to conceive PPSPI. These indicators shall serve as the basis for evaluating the impact of any development project on sustainability aspects during the early planning stage. Besides that, PPSPI complements the existing Malaysian Quality of Life Index in addressing sustainability issues during the stage. Adopting PPSPI comprehensively during Value Planning will naturally induce sustainable development aimed to improve peoples' quality of life in the long-term. (C) 2015 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
