Anna Hirsch
Anna Katharina Herta Hirsch (born 1982 in Trier) is a German-Luxembourg chemist and professor of medicinal chemistry at Saarland University. Since 2017, she has headed the Department of Drug Design and Optimization at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS).Her team focuses on targeted rational drug design to regulate enzymes, transporters, and regulators in bacterial, parasitic and viral pathogens.
