Garry Egger

Garry Egger AM (born 4 January 1947) is an Australian academic and author, particularly recognized for his work in health promotion, preventive health and lifestyle medicine. He has authored more than 35 books — several that are used as textbooks at various universities — and over 130 peer-reviewed articles collectively garnering over 3600 citations, with significant contributions to areas such as weight management and chronic disease prevention.
