Jana Jones
Jana Jones is an Australian Egyptologist and research fellow in the department of ancient history at Macquarie University. She is an expert on ancient Egyptian textiles. Her research provided evidence that mummification occurred in Prehistoric Egypt through the analysis of Mummy S. 293 from the Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy.She completed a BA degree at Macquarie University, majoring in modern languages.
