Joseph T. Coyle
Joseph Thomas Coyle Jr. (born October 9, 1943) is an American psychiatrist and neuroscientist. He is the Eben S. Draper Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School.Coyle is known for his work on the neurobiology of mental illness, more specifically on schizophrenia. He was President of the Society of Neuroscience from 1991 to 1992, and also the president of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology in 2001. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine.
