Nonpuerperal breast abscess due to Prevotella bivia
Abstract Contrary to puerperal abscess, nonpuerperal breast abscess is often caused by anaerobic bacteria; polymicrobial aerobic‐anaerobic infections are also frequent. Empiric first‐choice treatment with broad‐spectrum antibiotics should be considered.
