Purpuric rash in an adolescent with fever, pancytopenia, and an hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis‐like syndrome due to parvovirus B19

Abstract A rare case of parvovirus B19 infection associated with fever, hemorrhagic rash, and a clinical course resembling an incomplete HLH syndrome is presented. Parvovirus B19 should be included in the evaluation of febrile purpura and HLH‐like syndrome.
