The structures of two isomers of the title compound, [RuCl2(C14H12N4)(C2H6OS)2], 2 and 3, are reported. Isomers 2 and 3 are produced by reaction of the pyridyltriazole ligand 1-benzyl-4-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-1,2,3-triazole (bpt) (1) with fac-[RuCl2(DMSO-S)3(DMSO-O)]. Reaction in acetone produces ca 95%...
