The development of the sense of humor in these teachers, as a personal quality, was also evaluated through the Multidimensional Sense of Humor Scale (MSHS) of Thorson, Powell, Sarmany‐Schuller and Hampes and validated for Spanish speakers by Carbelo. The findings corroborate of contributions of different researchers in other social and cultural contexts; reflect the valuable experiences of Cuban teachers in the use of humor as a didactic resource in an empirical and intuitive way, but effectively.
