A characteristic rash caused by Shiitake mushrooms – An emerging concern?
Abstract Shiitake mushroom dermatitis is a striking rash that can present as an emergency. Despite the dramatic appearance, the rash is an idiosyncratic reaction which resolves spontaneously and does not progress to anaphylaxis.
