A note on linear subspaces of determinantal varieties
We use a geometrical approach to the study of the vector subspaces<em> M</em> in a determinantal variety in<em> Hom(V,W)</em> and derive conditions on <em>dim(M)</em> for<em> M</em> to belong to certain distingiushed classes of subspaces.
