REPRESENTATION OF COGNITIVE DISSONANCE IN THE OBJECTIVE-PRACTICAL COGNITIVE STYLE (BASED ON THE NOVEL «BELOVED» BY T. MORRISON)
The paper focuses on the theory of cognitive dissonance research and its reflection in the characters’ speech. The language means accompanying a cognitive dissonance are studied as well as the role of the objective-practical cognitive style at emergence of contradictions.
