Based on research findings, the paper explores different approaches and attitudes to CBK in planning, as well as ways to implement community-based pedagogy (CBP) in professional training. The connection between planning knowledge and pedagogy is explored in order to understand the role of academia in professional training and its potential in establishing a toolbox for current planners.
