The Comparison of the Linguistic World-Image (the case of gender-marked cognitive metaphors with the names of animals as a component)

Cognitive anthropomorphic metaphor with the names of animals as a component as a means of representation of the linguistic world-image is analysed. The phenomenon of gender asymmetry is illustrated.
