Computer vision techniques for traffic data collection and analysis
Traffic data fron downtown Montreal and a main highway near the city have been videotaped to create algorithms which measure traffic volume and vehicle speed, detect and count vehicles intending to turn, classify vehicles, and measure pedestrian flow.
