This study examined the effects of franchise contract on the franchisee’s choice. In addition, our research focuses on the convenience store and the breakfast store. The main results of this study are as follows: 1. If the franchisor provides more inputs, he will tend to provide the guarantee of gross profit. 2. If the franchisor provides more inputs, the percentage of profit shared by the franchisee is lower. 3. If the franchisor provides more inputs, the amount of franchise fees and royalties is higher. 4. If the franchisor provides more inputs, the criteria of recruiting franchisees are more selective. 5. If the franchisor provides more inputs, the intention of franchisees to join the franchise system is higher. 6. If the franchisor provides the guarantee of gross profit, he will tend to use the profit sharing contract. 7. If the franchise provides the guarantee of gross profit, the intention of franchisees to join the franchise system is higher. 8. Due to the different personal conditions, the franchisee will use the franchise contract as a signal to choose the franchise system.
