Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立師範學院 === 科學教育研究所 === 91 === The purposes of the research were as follows: 1. to develop a tool to measure students’ science attitudes, 2. to find out if the levels of change in students’ science attitudes are statistically significant in the aspect of pre-past tests, 3. to examine students’ performance in science learning process, 4. to develop the teaching strategies to implement to the out-door science teaching. In the research, the researcher developed a tool of “Science Attitudes Scale” based on “Grade 1-9 Curriculum Guidelines.” There were 31 4-graders for sample in the study. The researcher used experimental approach. The researcher planed an out-door science curriculum that was applied for the experimental treatment, and pre- and past- tests were used to calculate statistically significants. The researcher collected qualitative data that included videos tapes, cassettes tapes, documents and some survey data while treatment. The quantitative results have shown that students’ performance on the attitudes of “enjoying inquiry,” “enjoying of discovery,” “curiosity” are significantly differences while the factor of the “accurate proof” is not. The qualitative data have shown that most of the students have very positive, scientific and objective attitudes in science learning. Since this is an action research, the researcher who encountered some difficulties during the experimental teaching. Therefore, the researcher’s reflections and suggestions were stated in the report.
