Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 國民教育研究所 === 92 === The purpose of this study was to invetigate the performance about the student,s understanding to two-dimensional geometry figures and concepts of length and area by practicing the tangram teaching module self designed. This study belonged to case study and six 3th students from the instructor,s class were selected as target cases. The instructor collected data from video tapes, interviews, and the releted papers in the process of the study, and then understood the student,s performance really and deeply. The main conclusions evaluated from results were as follows : 1. They could classify two-dimensional geometry figures according to the shape, the size of area, and the numbers of side or angle or vertex. 2. They could count the hided triangles of the figures, and developed his own strategy. 3. They could transform and compose the figures. 4. They could understand the meaning of area, and have the concept of conservation of area. 5. They could understand the meaning of perimeter, and know when the area was the same, the perimeter was not always equal.
