Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 國民教育研究所 === 92 === The purpose of this study attempted to understand the current phenomenon and the relationships of teacher’s culture and teacher’s teaching effectiveness in the elementary school. Through the survey research method, the population of this study comprised in-service teachers of public elementary school in Yun-Lin, Jia-Yi, Tainan City and Jia-Yi, Tainan, county in Taiwan. The samplings include 104 elementary schools, and 759 questionnaires were sent, then 555 questionnaires were returned. With the implementation of ‘The teacher’s cultural and effective scales’ were edited by researcher, the data the researcher recorded from questionnaires were statistically analysis by Mean, Standard Deviation, T-test and One-way ANOVA . According to the outcomes of analysis, the results of this research were as follows: 1.The current phenomenon of teacher’s culture and teaching effectiveness in yun-lin, jia-yi, and Tainan county belong to upper medium level. 2.With the differences between teacher’s age, teachering years, teacher’s position, there were differences between teacher’s work values in teacher’s culture. 3.The teachers in different school scale present difference in teaching effectiveness, instruction planning and instruction preparing. 4.The teachers in different school location present the difference in teaching effectiveness, instruction planning and instruction preparing, teaching strategy, classroom climates and assessment. 5.The significant positive correlation exist between teacher’s culture and teaching effectiveness, and exist between teacher’s culture and every level of teaching effectiveness.
