Summary: | 碩士 === 國防醫學院 === 公共衛生學研究所 === 92 === The purpose of this study is to evaluate employees’ characteristics, knowledge, attitude, and behavioral intention before and after administrative intervention of contractual arrangement with Peng-Hu hospital.
The design of this study is a pretest-posttest study. A four-page, 50-item, semi-structural questionnaire was developed for this study. This pretest-posttest design involves the collection of data at two points of time. The first survey was conducted between Aug.6 2003 and Aug.9 2003. 165 (86.84%) of 190 employees was responded; the second survey was conducted between Mar.16 2004 and Mar.19 2004. 164 (87.23%) of 188 employees was responded. 134 out of 190 was matched.
A summary of nine findings are showed in the following:
1. Physician and non-supervisor employees’ knowledge to contractual arrangement is worse than average.
2. Physician and high income employees’ attitude of contractual arrangement is worse than average.
3. Non-supervisor and high income employees’ behavioral intention of contractual arrangement is negative.
4. The higher scores of knowledge of medical environment and policy and the content of contractual arrangement the better of the attitude.
5. The higher scores of knowledge of medical environment and policy and the content of contractual arrangement the better of the behavioral intention.
6. The higher scores of attitude of promote the operating benefits of hospital and protect rights and benefits of employee the better of the behavioral intention.
7. The employees’ whole knowledge and knowledge to the content of contractual arrangement has significantly improved after post-test.
8. The employees’ whole attitude and attitude of the protect rights and benefits of employees has significantly improved after post-test.
9. The positive behavioral intention has significantly increased and negative behavioral intention has significantly decreased after post-test.
According to the study results, the employees’ knowledge, attitude and behavioral intention are indeed improved after administrative intervention. Therefore, the author suggests that relevant organizations should take more active communication with each others and pay more attention to physicians and non-supervisor employees to improve their trust and support.
