Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 進修部數理教育碩士班(自然組) === 92 === This research, based on Action Research, tended to study the practicability of applying Portfolio Assessment to science teaching for countryside elementary school students. The two fifth-grade classes in the study came from the researcher’s school.
The findings of the study were as followings. First of all, to apply the Portfolio Assessment in science teaching could improve students’ learning motivation, learning attitude, and data collection capabilities. Under these circumstances, learning interests, team works, portfolio organizing, group interactions, and even homework preview and review could be automatically and easily done among students. However, the workload for both teachers and students increased, which made the Portfolio Assessment be resisted.
