This research uses questionnaire survey research, the tool of the questionnaires is about the elementary school teachers’ gender-role stereotype and the teaching self-efficacy in Chinese and math. The total of the questionnaires sent 320 questionnaires, and received 304 questionnaires back, so the percent of the receiving is 95%. The result of the survey uses Independent sample t-test, dependent sample t-test, and ANOVA etc. According to assume the result of the test, the conclusion is following: 1.The gender-role stereotype is different from the elementary school teachers’ different background. 2.The teaching self-efficacy is different form Chinese and math elementary school teachers’ different background. 3.There is a relation between elementary-school female and male teachers’ teaching self-efficacy in Chinese and math and gender-role stereotype. Finally, according the result of the research, pose the concrete suggestion for offering the reference to teachers, schools, teacher-education institute and research direction in the future. Summarization
