According to the first analysis of each teacher’s writing interests, the research then focuses the emotional issues of teacher-student interactions as this study inquiring main theme, in order to understand how emotions influence teachers’ works and their life worlds. The research describes the process of this research in detail, especially on how the research gets to know the collaborators and constructs the trust from the on-line/off-line interactions with teachers. Because the teachers participate the research with real names, it’s necessary to consider a safe writing space for these collaborators. Besides the face to face interviews, the researcher also uses e-mails or messenger like MSN to make sure of the meanings in the journals. After the data analysis, the researcher generalizes 5 emotional dilemmas from teachers’ teaching journals, they are: homework, interactions in the classes, school activities, class/teaching management and one-to-one interaction. The major finding is: it is always with certain tensions between working in an institutionalized school and the teacher’s educational ideals. This causes emotional reactions of miseries when teachers interact with their students. Negative emotional reactions also cause serious punishments and make hard memories in teachers’ teaching careers. How to avoiding making the same mistakes also becomes the common writing issue among teachers. This study suggests that successful teaching journal writing on the Internet should notice the rules of diary posting. The ’person’ as the unit of posting, not the ‘day’ will be helpful for the teachers to write and to form the issues which they concerns most in their daily works. This will make writing as inquiring and let the teachers find out the changes of thinkings and actions, also transform emotions to teaching dynamics. Min-Ling, Tsai 蔡敏玲 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 265 zh-TW |
