The subject was a student with the severe visual impairments in the regular class of third grade primary school. The single subject withdrawal design with extended follow-ups was adopted for the research. The independent variable of this study was cooperative learning. The dependent variables of this study were the changes in the peer social interactions, mannerisms and the question natives for social validity. Finally, the corrected data were analyzed by visual analysis and C statistics. Major results of this study were as followings: 1. Cooperative learning could increase the social interaction, social status, and acceptance in the peer of the students with visual impairment when the class was over. 2. Cooperative learning could reduce the frequency rate of the mannerisms of this student, when the class was over. Its result might be kept. 3. Cooperative learning could reduce the frequencies rate of the mannerisms on this student while attending the class. 4. Cooperative learning had social validity. It meant that the student, the teacher and parents preferred the instructional activities. This study might offer some suggestions in related researches for teaching references by final results 王明泉 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 188 zh-TW
