Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處數學教育碩士班 === 94 === Abstract An interactive mathematic learning process includes the interaction, communication, discussion and communication with peers and teachers. In such environment, teachers have to change his/her roles from a tutor to both a coordinator and a promoter in classroom. Meanwhile, students have the ability to observe peers’ learning process and reorganize the knowledge in the interactive learning environment. In the traditional classroom, pens and papers are used frequently as fundamental tools in most of the mathematic education activities. Students may use pens to express the solving process by simply writing down the tracks and patterns on the papers. However, it is difficult for teachers and students to observe and track and the process after the class. Only the image results of students’ problem solving could be read. Further more, teachers also have difficult to track all the process of each student in a class at the same time. To conquer this problem, some teachers take video and record students’ learning activities in class, and observe the process of problem solving repeatedly. It takes time and a lot of efforts for teachers, and students’ learning performance may be affected by the operation of camera and recorder. This project will construct an “Tracking and analyzing system” in the web based environment for assisting teachers to record and observe the process of mathematic problem solving in elementary school. All the students’ learning process of problem solving could be recorded, replayed and analyzed repeatedly without camera beside. The result of analyzing the error types of problem solving will assist teachers to revise the teaching strategies and help students to improve the learning effect. The objective of this project is to (1) support a tracking tool for teachers to record all the students’ problem solving process of mathematic course in an elementary school, (2) assist teachers to extract to error types and concept missing by observing and analyzing these process, (3) support students to learn by observing him/her self or peers’ problem solving process on line.
