The main method of this study was used lasting fifteen months of researching from September of 2004 to November of 2005. The target of this study is on the six high-grade pupils in certain elementary school of Taichung county. This study through three cycles of the training of scientific writing, scientific reading and writing to promote cooperative learning and elaborate. The data include the pupils’ scientific writing, workbooks, teamwork writing, interview, observation in class and the researcher’s miscellaneous works of teaching were collected. The analysis based on the data of character and found the following results: 1. It is a feasible way to promote cooperative learning by scientific reading and writing. It’s concrete result includes: (a) Promotes depth and breadth as well as scientific knowledge conformity ability which the student studies. (b) Promotes individual and the group cooperation study interest. (c) Promotes group cooperation interaction. 2. The bitter experience question and improvement of the scientific reading and writing to promote cooperative learning are: (a) Pupils’ scientific writing can’t promote cooperative learning. The strategy of teamwork can promote cooperative learning. (b) It is not easy for students to grasp the main point on the strategy of teamwork to promote cooperative learning. We can use the strategy of the guidance from experts to improve the effect of cooperative learning. 3. Based on the scientific reading and writing to promote cooperative learning. There are four influence factors: (a)The faith of the teachers’ teaching skill.(b)The contents of writing.(c)The ways of writing.(d)The qualities of writing. 4. Based on the scientific reading and writing to promote cooperative learning. There are four teaching strategies: (a)The strategy of concern and encouragement. (b)The strategy of teamwork.
