The researcher hopes to explore the causes, development and problems of the policy through research process. The aims of the study are summarized as follows: 1.To understand the history and development of the affirmative action policy for aboriginal students. 2.To analyze the causes, process, plans and problems of the policy for adjustments on the entrance examination. 3.To investigate the issues of the aboriginal education system. 4.Based on research findings, the researcher attempts to make some concrete suggestions to administrations. The study was done through the documentary analysis and interviewing professors, staffs, and teachers. The following are the results: 1.In respect of the affirmative action policy for aboriginal students: (1)Politics influences the affirmative action policy for aboriginal students. (2)Helping aboriginal students graduate from school through the guidance system. (3)Finding ways to solve the problems of the affirmative action policy for aboriginal students. 2.In respect of the policy for adjustments on the entrance examination: (1)Taking the aboriginal language exam as the criterion of the policy for adjustments on the entrance examination. Moreover, the government plans to adjust the proportion of additional grade and additional quota on the entrance examination. (2)Administrations plan to build a relevant environment for learning aboriginal language. 3.In respect of the aboriginal education system: (1)Recruiting students independently increases aboriginal students’ opportunities of entering higher schools. (2)Building the aboriginal education system to preserve aboriginal language and culture. Based on the results of the research, the researcher provides some suggestions for administrations and further research. 1.The suggestions for the affirmative action policy for aboriginal students: (1)Aboriginal administrations should increase their cultural knowledge, and make the policy fit aboriginals’ need. (2)Planning guidance and assistance measures in order to increase aboriginal students’ achievements from their childhood. (3)Adjusting the policy of aboriginal talents in order to make the aboriginal society have good development. 2.The suggestions for the adjustment policy on the entrance examination: (1)Setting up many places for learning aboriginal language and culture in order to build a relevant environment for learning aboriginal language. (2)Increasing the way to prove aboriginal students’ ability of mother tone and culture in order to decrease aboriginal students’ pressures. 3.The suggestions for the aboriginal education system: (1)Planning aboriginal students’ access to higher school or getting jobs well in order to increase aboriginal students’ inclinations to study the aboriginal education system. (2)Setting up a good environment for study in order to help aboriginal students adjust to society. 4.The suggestions for further research: (1)To continue further research about the affirmative action policy for aboriginal students. (2)To explore the adaptation and guidance in different school for aboriginal students.
