Currently, financial services business are dealing with a rapid change of competitive environment and major new product development provides threats as well as exciting opportunities. The antecedent researches of new product development(NPD) emphasize the importance of NPD key activities management- internal and external people involved in NPD process as a crucial factor within NPD process. Therefore, this research aimed at the influence of customer involvement, supplier involvement on NPD performance in a case of financial services industry providing intangible services products. Also to deal with the rapid changes of emvironment , the cross functional integration should be explicit , in order to manage and explicit internal and external resources well, and consequently improve the performance of NPD. This research aim at financial services industry in Taiwan and investigate by questionnaire. In this research, totally, 819 questionnaires are dispatched and 134 questionnaires were received. Totally, 125 effective questionnaires were received at a rates of 19.59%. By means of SPSS and AMOS as statistical tools to analysis the data, including the factor analysis, correlation analysis , regression analysis and structural equation modeling analysis. The empirical results are as follow: 1. Customer involvement has a significant positive effect to the new product development performance. 2. Customer involvement has a significant positive effect to the cross functional integration. 3.
