Abstract
The purpose of the study was to examine the effects of peer tutoring on mathematics learning for pupils with special needs in a regular classroom of primary school. A A-B design was employed in this study. Two second-grade subjects participated in this study. The controlling variable was the implementation of the Peer Tutoring. The dependent variable measured were the scores of mathematics by the students and the vision by teacher. The experimental design has two phases. The data collected were analyzed by using visual analysis, graphic display and C statistic. The results of this study were as follows:
1、Both of the two subjects had significantly higher mathematics scores during intervention phase than baselines.
2、All of peer tutors, subjects and teacher satisfy the effects of peer tutoring on mathematics learning.
Finally this study offered suggestions to instruct and measure pupils with special needs in the elementary school, and to the subsequent researches concerning pupils with special needs in the elementary school.
