Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 資訊工程所 === 95 === Discount coupon and gift certificate are both well-accepted instruments in the field of marketing, for maintaining customers’ loyalty and for stimulating purchases. Consider the issuing type of user specific coupons, not only coupon issuers stand to gain from more precise targeting potential consumers, but also the consumers more readily collect the sought after coupons, for instance, redeemable coupons, coupons in exchange for accumulative loyalty or bonus point, etc. However, introducing them to the e-commerce environments could be a challenging task due to their easily replicable nature. Hence to propose e-coupon or e-gift certificate model, we must address the issues of uniqueness, forgeability, and double-spending. In our proposed e-coupon scheme, some simple cryptographic techniques are applied which properly addresses the preceding concerns. In addition, we present an improved e-coupon scheme which includes a dynamic discount service (whereby the discount amount gradually decreases as time progresses until it reaches its expire-bound), and extend its application to e-gift certificate book with different face values.
