The research was mainly carried by the questionnaire survey; the sampling was forcus on the aldults who were traveling by the Song-shan Domestic Airport, Taipei Main Bus Station, Taipei Railway Main Station or the Taipei CKS International Airport. There were total 478 questionnaires distributed. 454 questionnaires were returned, of which 415 were valid. The research had adopted 6 consurmers travel decision-making patterns, which are “the purpose of travel consumption”, “the expenses of travel consumption”, “the timing of travel consumption” “the quality of travel consumption”,” the accompanying members of travel consumption”, and “the travel consumption pattern”. The big five personalities, which are “Agreeableness”, “Conscientious”, “Extraversion”, “Emotional Stability “ and “Openness to Experience,” had played the preposition roles as the research schemes. The final data analysis utilized the factor analysis and the correlation analysis. The findings were obtained as bellows: 1.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the purpose of the oversea travel comsumption. 2.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the expenses of the oversea travel consumption. 3.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the frenquency of the domestic travel consumption. 4.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the destination of the domestic and overseas travel consumption. 5.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the activity item of the domestic travel consumption. 6.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the quality of the domestic and overseas travel consumption. 7.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the accommodation location of the oversea travel consumption. 8.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the type of transportation of the domestic and overseastravel consumption. 9.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the comparion mamber of the domestic travel consumption. 10.Prominent difference was demonstrated with personality trait towards the type of the oversea travel consumption.
