Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育傳播與科技研究所 === 95 === Integrating information technology into teaching is the educational priority policy of all countries in the digital age. It’s also an important issue to improve students’ writing ability of Taiwan. Facing many different views of computer and network influencing language field, the main purpose of this research is to understand how the BLOG affect on pupil’s composition ability and the pupil’s attitude. Based on the results, this research finally offered suggestions to language and information technology educational policies.
The research took a Quasi-experimental approach. The objects of this study are fifth-grade students from an elementary school in Taipei. The participants were divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the students’ seat numbers. The odd-number students were in the control group, and the even-number students were in the experimental group. Before BLOG writing experiment, assayed with the writing of the narrative writing to confirm the students of two groups’ writing abilities were not different, and then began BLOG writing experiment for students of experiment group. All data were analysed with t-Test. Besides, interview experiment students their opinions of BLOG.
Sum up the discovery and result of this research, obtain the following conclusion:
1. Using BLOG improved composition total number of words, different number of words, CTTR, and writing ability, diminished cacography. The score showed an increasing tendency although not significant
2. The pupils have optimistic attitude toward BLOG.
3. Students who have optimistic attitude toward BLOG think they were not sure using BLOG will increase cacography or note, but BLOG is helpful to the composition ability .
