Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 餐旅管理學系碩士班 === 96 === The objective of this study was to offer an integrated approach to understanding the importance of the awareness of compensation by examining the theoretical and empirical evidence on the relationships among the awareness of compensation, job involvement, organizational commitment and intention to stay. A research model was proposed in which six hypotheses were developed. The empirical data was collected by airline industry. A total of 291 questionnaires were returned and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results supported the proposed model: (1) The awareness of compensation directly influenced job involvement and organizational commitment. And organizational commitment also directly influenced intention to stay. (2) Job Involvement has significantly correlation with organizational commitment. (3) Organizational commitment was a vivid factor in this model. Because of it, the relationship of the awareness of compensation and intention of stay would be negative significant so that it showed the importance of organizational commitment. The theoretical and managerial implications were drawn based on the study findings, and recommendations for future researchers were made.
