Description
Summary:碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 商學與管理研究所 === 96 === As a result of rapid development in technology is constant changes in consumers’ preferences and needs, businesses need to understand what customers’ needs, competitors’ strategies, and cross functional coordinates’ capability, so businesses need to adapt to this rapidly changed market environment to create new products quickly and gain competitive advantage. Recently, many scholars recognize that businesses need to know about the mediating role of market orientation on product innovation performance, and extant research considers market knowledge (broad, depth) the fundamental driver of product innovation performance. Accordingly, if market orientation has a high degree of effectiveness in business, the business will have more useful knowledge of product development to effectively reply on customers' needs. In addition, customer knowledge management is measured by dimension of the collection of customers’ preference, the sharing of customers’ information, and applying the knowledge to product development. Therefore, business needs to integrate customers’ and competitors’ knowledge to develop the capability to improve new product innovation. This research based on the previous literature to establish the effects of market orientation, market knowledge, and customer knowledge management on product innovation performance. Through this the result of empirical research will provide academic and practical conclusions to help with future research topics. We hope this concetional framework can be examined by the data from the Taiwanese manufacturing industry in the future.
