A total of sixteen sessions of children-centered play therapy were conducted, and each session lasted forty minutes, twice a week. The whole process was recorded by video and was translated into text to inquire the subject’s changes, including playing behaviors, interactions with consulters, and the progress of prior social withdrawn behaviors. In order to comprehend the changing process, analyses of observed list of playing behaviors, the scale of social withdraw behaviors, transcript text, and the interview records with parents, homeroom teachers and resource-room teachers were carried out. Five results were found as following: 1. On playing behaviors, the toys with same type were chosen frequently, and the time for exploring play decreased gradually; however, the time for fantastic play and the richness of playing content both increased. 2. The subject displayed limited emotional self-expression during playing period. No aggressive behaviors but calm emotion and steady state were showed. 3. With the progress of playing stage, the subject became more active and more concentrative on the play. 4. Physical nonverbal behaviors were the main communication between the subject and therapists. The subject adopted an open-minded attitude to share with therapists, by which the acceptance and favorites to therapists were reflected. 5. The changes of social withdrawn behaviors showed the immediate effect and follow-up effect of children-centered play therapy. Finally, several suggestions were conducted for the clinical work and future research. Li-Fen Cheng 鄭麗芬 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 160 zh-TW
