Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程所 === 97 === Typical cold work die materials exhibit high hardness and toughness, secondary hardening, excellent wear resistance properties. Two kinds of cold work die steel, such as SKD11 and DC53, were separately quenched at 1000℃, 1025℃, and 1050 ℃, then tempered at 190℃, 520℃, 560℃, and 590 ℃, respectively. In this study, effects of quenching and tempering on dimensions change were investigated. The experimental results show that specimens quenched at 1025 ℃ and tempered at 190 ℃ performs a shrinkage distortion. Contrary to result above, specimens quenched at 1025 ℃ and tempered at 520, 560, and 590 ℃ performs an expansion distortion. The percentage of dimension changes from 0.15% to - 0.22 % as quenching temperature increases from 1000 ℃ to 1050 ℃ and followed by 190 ℃ tempering operation. Meanwhile, The percentage of dimension changes from 0.05 % to 0.3 % as quenching temperature increases from 1000 ℃ to 1050 ℃ and followed by 520, 560, and 590 ℃ tempering operation.
