Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 社會科教育學系碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this study was to explore the current situation of Pingtung Country elementary school teachers’ cognizing in the campus zero corporal punishment and their disciplinary behaviors, and its relativity. In order to achieve the purpose above, the study adopted a questionnaire survey method and used self-made“Questionnaire of Elementary School Teachers’ Cognizing about Campus Zero Corporal Punishment and Disciplinary Behaviors”as a study tool. The target population was the teachers teaching in elementary schools in Pingtung County, using the way of stratified random sampling to carry on a questionnaire and collect data. Finally, 470 valid questionnaires in total were obtained. According to the answers given by the test-receivers, data were sorted and analyzed by using description statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’method, Pearson product-moment correlation and Simple linear regression. Based on the result of analyses, conclusion are drawn as follows: 1、Most of the teachers teaching in elementary schools in Pingtung County had cognized well in campus zero corporal punishment. 2、Most of elementary school teachers in Pingtung County could take reasonable disciplinary behavior. 3、The education background, years of teaching experience, the location of school, the students’grade that is taught, and the position of elementary school teachers had a difference in the cognition of campus zero corporal punishment. However, the gender of the teachers sampled and the scales of the school they are teaching in did not have a very different affect on their view towards corporal punishment of the students. 4、The gender, years of teaching experience, the location of school, the students’ grade that is taught, and the position of elementary school teachers had a difference in disciplinary behaviors, but their educational background and the scale of the school did not have any impact on their views toward disciplinary behaviors. 5、The higher the cognition in campus zero corporal punishment of elementary school teachers in Pingtung County, the more correct and reasonable their disciplinary behaviors are. 6、The higher the cognition in campus zero corporal punishment of elementary school teachers in Pingtung County, the more effective prediction of their disciplinary behaviors are. At last, based on the result of this study above, many suggestions were proposed as a reference to educational supervisor’s organization, schools, teachers and future researches.
