Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 97 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of using play-based question comprehension instruction to improve the ability to answer questions of an elementary school child with severe autism. A multiple probes design across behaviors of single-subject experimental design was implemented. An elementary second-grade school child with severe autism participated the play-based question comprehension instruction designed by the researcher. The independent variable was the play-based question comprehension instruction.The dependent variable was the score of the participant’s answering the following questions:1.What is inside the + N.?2.What is the shape of + N.? and3.what did you take to+somebody? The information collected was evaluated by visual analysis, and supplemented by direct observation and questionnaire. The major findings were summarized as the followings: 1. The score of ansering questions1、question2,and question3 improved immediately after intervention. 2. The score of ansering questions1、question2,and question3 improved immediately after intervention and sustained well in nature situations. 3. The child’s parents and teachers had positive attitude toward the effects of the play-based question comprehension instruction on aswering questions.
