The designs were nonequivalent pretest-posttest designs to understand the influences of teaching method in life education on learning interest, learning results and learning dimensions. The topic in this study was “Life Values”. 69 second-grade junior high school students from two different classes were engaged in the study. One of those classes was selected randomly as an experimental group, on which the teaching of static pictures was applied. The other group was the comparison group, on which the traditional teaching was used. The whole study process took 4 weeks. The results showed that the static pictures teaching could promote higher learning interests and better learning results, especially in affective dimension. The recommendations based on the findings were presented.
