Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 幼兒教育學系研究所(Graduate Institute of Early Chil === 98 === This aim of this study was to explore the influence of composition teaching to improve writing ability of the culturally disadvantaged students. An action research design through the project-based teaching and the following instruments were employed in this study: the teaching observation, the document analysis and the interviews. The main results were as follows: 1. The reflection of project-based composition teaching. (1) Teachers should guide students into self-directed learners by activities and to find the solution through peer-to-peer cooperation. (2)Teachers should design a systematic writing practice by the guideline of different stages for students to learn. (3)Teaching writing should get involved with the issue of daily life. 2. Students’ interest in the project-based composition teaching (1)Teachers should achieve students through the oral praise and the composition exhibition. (2)Teachers should get interested in students through concrete、vivid、plural and daily life activities. 3. Students’ basic writing performance in the project-based composition teaching. (1) Students can correctly express what they think according their life experiences. (2) Students can maturely express what they think through the accumulation of reading experiences. (3) Students can improve their writing abilities through the continuous thinking, imaging and creating. 4. Students’ skill performance in the project-based composition teaching. (1) Students can internalize their learning and brainstorm the creative concept through the project-based composition teaching. (2) Students can understand the utilization of different kinds of cards through imitating writing. (3) Students can gradually form the writing concepts and abilities through the practice of worksheets.
