This study investigated the relationship between abusive supervision and employee deviant behavior. In addition, this study explored the moderating effects of job burnout and job boredom on the above relationship. Results from a sample of 263 supervisor-employee dyads revealed that (1) abusive supervision was positively related to employee deviant behavior (i.e., interpersonal deviance and organizational deviance); (2) the relationship between abusive supervision and employee organizational deviance was moderated by job burnout such that the relation was stronger for those who had higher level of job burnout; (3) the relationship between abusive supervision and organizational deviance was moderated by job boredom such that the relation was stronger for those who had higher level of job boredom.
