The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was adopted as the framework in the study. This study also explored the mean differences on parents’ backgrounds, such as gender, age, educational background, technology training experience, and hours of using computer and web each day. There were 876 fifth grader’s parents answered the questionnaire in the study. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson’s correlation and multiple regression analysis. The findings were as followed: 1. The attitudes of parents toward integration of information technology into instruction were strongly positive. 2. There were significant differences on the parents’ background variables including gender, education background, technology training experience, and hours of using computer daily in parents’ technology literacy, parents’ believes, parent-teacher communications, parent-child interactions, perceived ease of use, and intention to use. 3. The variables of parents’ believes and parent-child interactions can be successfully predicting the TAM model about the perceived ease of use of the integration of information technology into instruction. 4. The variables of parents’ believes, parent-teacher communications, and parent-child interactions can predict the perceived usefulness of the integration of information technology into instruction in the TAM model. 5. Parents’ believes, parent-teacher communications, and parent-child interactions can predict the attitude toward use and intention to use of the integration of information technology into instruction in the TAM model. 6. In the TAM model, the perspective of the technology acceptance for parents, perceived ease of use can predict perceived usefulness. 7. In the TAM model, the perspective of the technology acceptance for parents, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness can predict their attitude toward use. 8. In the TAM model, parents toward the perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and attitude toward use for the integration of information technology into instruction can predict the intentions to use of the integration of information technology into instruction. According to the findings, some suggestions were provided for parents, teachers, and future studies. Hui-Chun Hsiao 蕭惠君 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 104 zh-TW
