Description
Summary:碩士 === 致理技術學院 === 服務業經營管理研究所 === 100 === This study attempts to examine the impacts of the two leadership styles (i.e., authoritarian leadership and transformational leadership) on turnover intention and work outcomes (i.e., job performance and job satisfaction). The participants in this study consisted of 211 first-line employees belonging to the service departments of some enterprises in Taiwan . The study found that employees in the transformational leadership style environment would have more job satisfaction, job performance and less perception of job stress than those in the authoritarian leadership environment. In other words, employees in the authoritarian l leadership style environment would have more emotional exhaustion, disengagement and less job satisfaction and therefore would produce their turnover intention. The theoretical and practical implications will be discussed here.
