The participants in this study consisted of 211 first-line employees belonging to the service departments of some enterprises in Taiwan . The study found that employees in the transformational leadership style environment would have more job satisfaction, job performance and less perception of job stress than those in the authoritarian leadership environment. In other words, employees in the authoritarian l leadership style environment would have more emotional exhaustion, disengagement and less job satisfaction and therefore would produce their turnover intention.
