However, the effectiveness has not emerged. Looking into the causes, we find that in addition to educational resources, family factors became a significant part of the education. This study is intended for eight junior high schools in the ninth grade students '' basic aptitude test results, conducts a questionnaire survey and data analysis to understand school factors effect on academic achievement. In terms of research design, this study uses analysis of variance, factor analysis and principal components analysis , from the design factors to identify factors influencing students '' academic achievement. The study establishes a prediction model of school achievement. Its results are as follows: 1. Parents'' education, familial structure, father''s and mother''s educational levels and family monthly income have an effect on academic achievement of significance level. 2. The number of children in the family, or the fact that brothers and sisters study in senior high schools will have an effect on academic achievement, reaching a significant level. 3. Socio-economic background of the parents, brothers and sisters factors and family structure factors are the main factors of ten potential factors. 4. Using principal component analysis method,we select eight principal components, using simple regression analysis to establish the branch prediction model, but it''s low degree of interpretation.
