Multiple probe design across participants was used in the study. The subjects are three mild mental retardation students studying in the 8th grade in a vocational high school in Changhua County. The independent variable was self-instructional training; the dependent variables were the acquisition of self-instructional training and the learning effect of cleaning skills. The teacher taught these three students cleaning skills, including window-cleaning skills and floor-cleaning skills. The researcher collected experimental data within baseline, treatment, and maintenance phase. The results were analyzed through visual analysis. The researcher later interviewed the subjects and the teacher to realize their opinions and suggestions about the study. The results of the study were as follows: 1.Students with mild mental retardation in vocational can acquire self-instruction effectively. 2.Self-instructional training can enhance the effectiveness of window-cleaning skills learning for students with mild mental retardation in vocational high school. 3. Self-instructional training can enhance the effectiveness of floor-cleaning skills learning for students with mild mental retardation in vocational high school. 4.All the subjects and the teacher held positive attitudes toward self-instructional training According to the results, the researcher proposed suggestions for teaching and future research ZHOU,TAI-JIE 周台傑 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 137 zh-TW
