Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 課程與教學研究所 === 100 === The main purpose of this study was to explore Mentor Teacher’s influences on Beginning Teacher’s teaching beliefs.In this study, one Mentor Teacher and Beginning Teacher were chosen as the research method of this study. Furthermore, data were collected by ways of interviews, classroom observations and document analysis. Finally, the data were analyzed and discussed; the conclusions were drawn as below. The factors that influence this teacher’s beliefs are family background, the teachers who taught her, and Mentor Teacher’s influence. Mentor Teacher helps Beginning Teacher through discussion,document sharing,classroom observation,and etc. Mentor Teacher influences Beginning Teacher in two parts.One is to strengthen Beginning Teacher’s beliefs,and the other is to challenge Beginning Teacher’s own beliefs. No matter which part, they can make a Beginning Teacher become a thinker in her teaching. Based on the conclusions, the implication is that teaching beliefs can be changed but not easy. The suggestions for Mentor teacher, Beginning teacher, and further related research are also provided .
