Summary: | 碩士 === 元智大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 100 === The purpose of this study is to examine that the influence of personality and job stress on
the job performance ; and the difference in personal variation for personality, job stress and
Job Performance. The data was collected from someone of the world's top 500 companies in
Taiwan high-tach industry by using questionnaires. With 300 questionnaires issued and the
number of valid returned questionnaires totals 230, which yields to 76.67% rate of return.
Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, letter degree analysis, Pearson Correlation
Analysis, Hierarchical regression analysis, independent sample t test and one way ANOVA,
with trial hypnosis testimony. After empirical analysis, results indicated that:
1.A type personality characteristic is positively and significantly related to job
performance
2.Anxiety of job stress is negatively and significantly related to task performance.
3.Time stress of job stress is negatively and significantly related to contextual
performance.
4. Level of education is significantly related to job performance
5. Gender factors affecting the time stress
6. Level of education and job titles are significantly related to task performance
