The methodology of this study was based on the quasi-experimental design. The 120 subjects of this study were four classes of eight grade students in Changhua County, two for the experimental group and two for the control group. All subjects were tested for "Gender Attitude Scale". After eight-week experimental teaching for two classes per week, single-factor analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used to compare the gender attitude between two groups for the effectiveness of the strategy. Group discussion strategy integrated into the social studies curriculum could enhance the concept of gender equality of the junior high students and reduce gender stereotypes and the effect was significant and sustained . However, the perception of sexual harassment had no significant effect. According to the results, it's recommended to enhance teachers' ability to integrate the curriculum by combining the gender equality issues and students' experiences into the curriculum. Therefore, students could truly act with gender equality in life. Jin-Meei Kuo 郭金美 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 86 zh-TW
